Pipedrive New Lead Trigger Should be Instant

Pabbly really needs to support instant triggers for Pipedrive new lead events (or all "new lead" events on every platform for that matter). When a new lead is created, we immediately add it to another platform to send out welcome SMS messages, emails, and more. After setting up the workflow, we discovered that the Pipedrive New Lead trigger only runs once per hour. That kind of delay is far too long for time-sensitive actions like welcome emails and texts, which should go out right after the lead is created.

Hello @wonders83,

You can change the trigger of polling based trigger to a minimum for 10 minutes. To acheive this follow the below mentioned steps:
  1. Click the three dots next to your trigger step.
  2. Select the Set Trigger Time option.
  3. Choose your desired time and save the changes.
For more details, please refer to the attached images.

Also, we have escalated the instant trigger request to our integration team, if feasible our team will consider adding it.

@Preeti Paryani Thanks for your response. Unfortunately even 10 minutes is a little too long. When a lead fills out a form, we send an immediate SMS to let them know we're going to call, and our agents try to call within 2-3 minutes during business hours. We don't want to call the person first and then they receive an SMS.

Also it would be great if Pabbly could add an "Update Lead" option for Pipedrive. You can create a lead, find a lead, add a note to a lead, but you cannot update a lead. For example, when a lead is created in Pipedrive, we have a webhook that goes to Pabbly that creates an entry in another platform, then we need to update the Pipedrive lead with the other platforms ID that was just generated. We're currently unable to do that without hacks and workarounds.

Appreciate your time and consideration.

'Pipedrive: New Lead' is a polling-based trigger, which means Pabbly Connect periodically checks for a new lead in your Pipedrive account. If a new lead is found, the workflow gets triggered. It’s not possible to make this trigger instantaneous.

Also it would be great if Pabbly could add an "Update Lead" option for Pipedrive. You can create a lead, find a lead, add a note to a lead, but you cannot update a lead. If you'd like the 'Update Lead' action event to be added to the Pipedrive app, you can submit your request on our dedicated platform:

Our integrations team will review your request and, if feasible, add the desired action event to Pipedrive.

In the meantime, you can try using the API (Pabbly) module to execute your desired endpoint.
