Access Required to Delete Contact

I’m unable to delete the contact and receiving a “You are not authorized to perform this action” message.
Could you please let me know what access or permissions are required to delete a contact?

Could you please confirm whether you are encountering the error in the account associated with your primary email, or if you are accessing the account as a team member when the error occurs?
 
The error is occurring while I’m accessing the account as a team member. Currently, I am using the shared template as provided to the team. I would appreciate your support in resolving this issue, as it is preventing me from progressing with my assigned tasks, all of which are currently in a pending state.

Following our discussion with the team, we’d like to inform you that certain recent changes were implemented for security purposes. As a result, team members no longer have the ability to delete any items from the owner’s account.
