Connect Xenforo to Getresponse

How to add a new contact ( Username and Email ) to the Getresponse Campaign after user registration? According to the attached images, a trigger was created at the time of the new user registration and then set an action to get user by Usename, But in the final stage (create a new contact in getresponse) can not recognize the value of the username and email fields from "Response" data.

Hey @Doosideh

It seems like you haven't captured the webhook response correctly, please capture the webhook response completely and let us know.

Kindly re-connect the action step with the correct credentials, pass the XenForo Community URL as mentioned in the help text, after connecting the action step press the "Save & Send Request" button once and make sure that you have created a user.

Hi Supreme and thanks for reply.

I think the web hook is connected properly and also I have set community URL (https://forum.digibiit.com).
According to the image below, if I enter the username manually in the Xenforo action section, the user information will be loaded correctly.

This data is also displayed correctly in the Get Response Action section and can be used

But I need the username and email to be sent dynamically from "Response" to Get Response after the user registers.

Hey @Doosideh

Yes, to the make the workflow dynamic you have to first capture the webhook response completely and with the response, you have to map the name of the User in the 2nd action step to get used by name, after getting the API response from the 2nd action then map the respective data to your GetResponse.

Otherwise, the static mapping in your workflow will always work the same.

Do you think the web hook is not set up properly in Trigger step ? Is there a way to check the data sent when creating a new user in the trigger section?
There are no other settings for mapping the username in the 2nd action step, How can I do this?

We looked into your concern and it seems like your account might not have proper permission to perform such a task and because of that, you are getting no response in your trigger event/action event.

We check this on the Postman platform and it is not working.

Thanks for your complete review.
I also checked the API in Postman. If the "api_bypass_permissions =1" parameter is sent as a query string with the request, the API seems to work properly.

Is it possible to set this parameter to call API in the trigger step?

We have made the changes in the Xenforo's trigger event and it is working from our end. Kindly try the trigger event at your end and let us know if it is working for you as well?

But now in the action section, how can the Username be mapped dynamically to send it for GetResponse?
Already still a specific user selected to send to GetResponse.

Hey @Doosideh

We looked into your workflow and everything is set up correctly which will work dynamically. You might get confused because of the status which you got in the GetResponse: Create a Contact action step, the respective status code signifies that the action step has processed correctly but unable to display the response which is from their server end.

Kindly give 2,3 test submissions to your workflow and try again. Let us know if it is working for you.

I registered in the forum several new users but unfortunately none of them were sent to GetResponse list, Also in trigger step same user ("ramin etemadi") will be returned by pressing the Save & Send Test Request button.

As we are testing Xenforo's trigger at our end and their server is not responding to live automation.

So we have contacted their support team for the same and would also request you to contact them for a faster response.

You can ask their support team that " We are using the Get User API as per your docs. It shows that we can get a list of users (alphabetically) only. Could you please provide us with the shorting order so that we can list the users in the ascending order as per the user registration date?
Also, it would be great if you can raise the pagination limit up to 100".
