Custom Field Design - Textcolor

Hi Team,
I'v added a custom field to the checkout page. It is a select box.
It seems to me, that there is no option to change the color of the text.

Rigth now it is white text on white background.
Did it miss the fild or is this an bug? Would be great, if it appears as black or dark grey text.
