Dynamic workflow step numbers not correct

I am noticing that the workflow step numbers of dynamic results for previous steps in my workflows are not updating properly to reflect the actual number of the step any longer. This used to work and update but now I see some that are not which is causing issue to work on the workflow since I can't tell when workflow step is actually being referenced for the result. Hello @andrewstrealtor,

Could you please try adding a few tests and let us know if everything works as expected? If it doesn’t, we recommend saving all the steps first and then trying to add a test again.

My existing workflow steps are not numbered correctly and when I need to troublshoot or work with my steps, the numbers must properly reflect where the result comes from or I will be absolutely lost and mess things up trying to work within the workflow. This is a bug that needs fixing from your end.

We are unable to locate the specific route in your workflow where you’re facing this issue. Could you please share the route name and the step name where the issue occurs? It seems the step name may have been modified, making it difficult for us to identify.

Also, we’re not asking you to create a new workflow from scratch. Instead, we request you to click on the Save and Send Test Request button for each step to ensure that all steps are correctly saved.

The underlying issue must be found and corrected so this doesn't happen again, and not manually corrected one workflow branch at a time.
 
The connections are still working properly, so the logic is correct, but the displayed text for a human being user to work with is incorrect. I will not go hunting for issues. When I look at my workflow though, the information must be accurate.

I don't know if you have been working on this but today my workflow was broken. Steps dependant on other step results are now missing the associations and I need to rebuild my entire workflow. This will take me days to check everything and verify it is working. It took me years to build this and get it right. Why has this happened? Do you have a backup we can restore to? If so, DO NOT restore from the back without confirming with me the date but this is not good!

We understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially after investing so much time and effort into building your workflow. However, we want to assure you that no changes have been made on our end that would affect your workflow.

Currently, there isn’t a feature or system in place to back up or restore workflows.
