Elementor is wordpress isnt triggering my "new published post" automation

Hello,
I just created a new workflow that is triggered by a new published wordpress post, and it wont trigger when I hit publish within elementor editor. I tried it both ways and it seems to only trigger if I hit publish in the wordpress editor instead of my preferred editting plug in- is anyone else having this isuue?
