Eventbrite integration needs more data

It’s really cool that you’ve added checked in as a trigger to Eventbrite, but the data that it pulls in is pretty much useless:

There’s basically no identifiable data from it that I can use to map to another tool. I.E. There are no name, email, event name, venue name and event date fields.

For this to be useful, I need to trigger the attendee data to be sent to a CRM (Gist) upon check in, so it can trigger things like automated emails, etc.

But without the attendee info (both their data - name and email - and the event data - event name, venue name and event date) it’s not quite there yet!

Could you please capture the webhook response again as it was coming earlier for the same event? So that we can check the issue at our end and can assist you accordingly.

Thanks so much for that, that was really helpful. I've set up the Text Splitter (great little tool!). However, I'm still running into two blocks:

1. I only get errors when trying to Get Attendee ID (I can get the Event ID info, but not Attendee ID)
2. I need an option for "Any Event" when using the trigger "New Order"

We have checked into it and found that the response will come from Eventbrite's API in this way only. So, we have found a workaround to this.

Further, please check out the following screenshot for a better understanding and we hope this might work for you.

That takes care of problem #1 :)

For problem #2 (an option for "Any Event" when using the trigger "New Order", rather than picking a specific event) do you have any ideas how we can make that happen?

Currently, I have to pick a specific event that I want to map the order info from, but with 3 events per week (and growing) this isn't workable.

Just in case anyone else is trying to use this trigger, the Eventbrite API now only provides the order ID now (you don't need the event ID any more to retrieve the attendee details)
