Extra Formatting before my number in Google sheet

I have a workflow ID

Whenever it posts to Google sheets, in the column B, it puts $ before the number. So if it is $40.00, it puts $40.00

Is there a way to fix that?

Since it is possible that the row entries might be edited from your Google Sheets format itself, so make the column of your Google Sheets have "Plain Text" selected.

It still did that despite have the entire column in plain text mode on Google sheets. Any other suggestion?

Could you please record a short screen recording executing the workflow and showing how the amount is added to your Google Sheets?
