Facebook Conversions app change to include unnecessary lead-id?

I use a Pabbly workflow to catch a webook from my checkout when people buy from me and send particular events to Facebook conversions (since a catch all 'Purchase' events don't give me the level of data that I need). About 2-3 weeks ago, these workflows, which had always worked beautifully, stopped working.

On investigation the error that Facebook is giving me is saying that I'm not sending Lead IDs with every event. It looks like the Pabbly integration is now requiring that a Lead ID is sent with every event, regardless of whether the event is a purchase, a lead, or something else. My events are for purchases (I use Subscribe, StartTrial and CustomizeProduct specifically), and I cannot see anywhere in any of those event where a Lead ID would be generated, since they are not Lead events).

I have tried sending events with a dummy Lead ID - it doesn't work.
I have tried regenerating the workflows as Purchase events (instead of the Other category I have been using until now), but they don't successfully send events to Facebook.
I have tried setting up an equivalent event on Zapier to see if the problem is coming from the Pabbly side, or the Facebook side, and the Zapier event works great (and does not require a Lead ID to be sent), so it seems to me like the issue might be some kind of change in the setup on the Pabbly side. But I really don't want to have to buy a Zapier subscription, when my Pabbly lifetime has always come through for me in the past (LOVE Pabbly!)

Can anyone help me with this? I'd be so grateful! for any help anyone can offer on this).
