Hi i have setup shopify to facebook offline purchase conversion even but i am seeing that it reports double of what my website actually has in sales and that is shown in the website purchase column .
Do we still need to use convertor to make values sha256 or what are the problems here

this is my workflow please help as this is reporting some random double numbers and not letting me map my campaigns properly

Hey @Scraft Studio

No, in that particular action step, you do not need to convert the field data to the SHA256 key first.

Well then did you see the screenshots why is the data reporting double in offline conversions ?

We didn't get any screenshots attached to the thread. But as we can see from your workflow, you are passing the other field data in SHA256 format, so pass it in normal plain text and avoid passing the value in the decimal.

and how do we reduce or avoid duplication in events do i need to pass any other value ?

You can check it through a webbooks testing site called webhook.site.

You can copy the webhook URL provided by Webhook.site inside your plugin and do the test event inside the application to see if the webhook is being worked inside Webhook.site. This will double-confirm the issue.

Here is a sample video that you can follow to track the webhook issue:
