Hey there, deal stage comes before pipeline and I can't seem to add the deal stage because of that and this automation ends up not working. Please advise

I apologize, but we are unable to change the field sequence as it is defined in the API documentation.
Also as I can check your workflow, it seems that you have entered incorrect Deal Stage and Pipeline fields in the action step.
Please ensure that you enter the correct Stage ID and Pipeline ID in the fields for the pipeline and deal stage.
