This documentation provides a detailed, step-by-step guide for integrating your Google Maps account with Pabbly Connect. Following these instructions will enable you to establish a seamless connection between the two platforms.

How to authorize Google Maps in Pabbly Connect?

• Within Pabbly Connect, established a connection between Google Maps and Pabbly Connect.

Connection Steps:

• Create and configure a Google Cloud Platform project for Google Maps

Your Google account must have Cloud Billing set up to enable the required APIs in your project. Learn more.

• Create a Google Cloud Platform project for Google Maps

1. Log in to the Google Cloud Platform using your Google credentials.
2. On the welcome page, click "Create or select a project > New project".
3. Enter a "Project name" and select the "Location" for your project.
4. Click "Create".
5. In the top menu, check if your new project is selected in the "Select a project" dropdown. If not, select the project you just created.

Note: To create a new project or work on the existing one, you need to have the serviceusage.services.enable permission. If you don’t have this permission, ask the Google Cloud Platform Project Owner or Project IAM Admin to grant it to you.

• Enable APIs for Google Maps

1. Open the left navigation menu and go to APIs & Services > Library.
2. Search for the following APIs:
   Geocoding API
   Maps Elevation API
   Time Zone API
   Directions API
   Distance Matrix API
   Maps Static API
   Places API
   Geolocation API
   Roads API
3. Click on the relevant API, then click "Enable".

• Obtain your Google Maps API key

1. In the left sidebar, click APIs & Services > Credentials.
2. Click + Create Credentials > API key.
3. Copy Your API key value shown and store it in a safe place.
4. Copy and paste the value in the API Key field within Pabbly Connect.

Integration Connection Steps:

1. Select "Google Maps" within the workflow:

Within Pabbly Connect, navigate to the action step and choose "Google Maps" as the application then in the action event select the event you wish to perform, such as "Get a Distance Matrix".

2. Configure the Connection:
To establish a connection, select "Add New Connection" and log in to your Google Maps account. If you already have an existing connection, you can opt for "Select Existing Connection" instead.

• Get a Distance Matrix

Please follow below the step to capture the action response to the above-mentioned action event -

• Use Case: Retrieve travel distance and estimated time between locations.
• Select the "Get a Distance Metrix" action, and connect your Google Maps account by using API key.
• Provide all required details within the section.
• Once all the necessary information has been provided, please click on the "Save and Send Test Request" button.

Successful Integration:

Upon completing the above steps, your Google Maps account will now be successfully integrated with Pabbly Connect. You can utilize trigger events according to your purpose. With this integration, you can automate processes through Pabbly Connect, improving your workflow and enhancing your productivity.
