History shows Task as Success even though "Airtable: Create Record" returned an Error

when creating a new airtable record with a select field, i get an error "INVALID_MULTIPLE_CHOICE_OPTIONS" when the parameter doesn't match an already existing option.

shouldn't that task be shown as "Failed" instead of "Success"?

i already figured out what my problem was (the select option i submitted did not exist in the airtable), but would have realized sooner if a failed task would have been displayed, maybe you can change it to "Failed" if an error gets shown as response?

As you already figured out that the platform didn't support the multiple-choice option and the passed values seem invalid, so please pass the values which acceptable to airtable fields in nature.

Further, we are looking into the task status of "success" and "failed" to be shown while execution according to its error.

Yes, our system automatically generates an error message and send it to its user with specific detail about the workflow, the action step, with its task id.

Sample-

I'm running into the same issue and would also like to see this indicated as a failure. Currently, I have to check every automation manually, which obviously defeats the purpose of automation. :)

As we can see that the values which you have mapped are corrupted/incorrect.

So, could you please share your workflow name with us, to check the fields which you have mapped and the concern in your workflow?
