how to handle calendar event changes when there is a delay

I want to run an action, 24 hours before the Event Started of a google calendar event.

As per my understanding, I can only do that if I create a trigger on a New Event (not Event Started) and then set a 24 hour delay.

The problem in this case is: What happens if there is a change on the event, from the time it was created, until the Event Started date/time?

This is the scenario:

- Someone creates an event
- Pabbly connect picks up the event and sets a 24 hour delay
- 6 hours before the event, the client calls and moves the event 1 hour earlier

In this scenario, Pabbly connect already has set the delay, and it's different from the actual date/time of the event because the client changed his appointment.

I realise there's an option Event Updated but that can only handle "confirmed, tentative and cancelled (deleted)". In my scenario someone could change the date/time of the event, or the Summary and I have no way of finding out what changed. So any actions after the trigger would fail.

How can I handle the cases where there's a delay before Event Started but there was a change on the event?

Thanks

Hey @aristosv

If the admin of the calendar makes any update in the Calendar then you can use the "Google Calendar: Event Updated (Beta)" trigger event to receive the updated time of the event. Further, you can use the filter action step to avoid the events which will get tentative and canceled (deleted).

Please check out the following screenshot for your better understanding.
