Is it possible to create a images in Canva without using BrandKit?

I have a template ready in Canva, and I just need to add my images into the frames. However, I do not want to use the BrandKit. Is it possible to use Canva's bulk create feature from Pabbly with my own images without needing to rely on BrandKit?

I would appreciate any guidance or tips on how to do this more simply.

Thank you!

Hello @Irene

I want to inform you that Canva’s Bulk Create feature isn’t directly accessible through its API. The API primarily supports basic design creation, template management, and media uploads, but it doesn’t include all of Canva’s in-app automation tools, like Bulk Create.

Due to this API limitation, your use case may not be feasible.

Hi Preeti,

Thank you for the information!

Currently, there are still quite limited guides on using Canva without BrandKit, so I’m finding it a bit challenging.
If I already have the images I want to upload organised in sequence in a Canva folder would it be feasible to upload them one by one in order? Or does the API still limit this type of sequential upload?

Thanks again for your help!

Hello @Irene

As of now, Canva offers an API primarily for integrating design creation and collaboration features, but it doesn't expose full asset management capabilities like uploading images directly via an API to a specific folder.

Due to this limitation, it would not be feasible to add assets to a canva folder.
