Mailchimp - Updating member with custom field gives an error that the record already exists

I am trying to update a member and I get the following Error Message:
"[email hidden]" is already in this list with a status of "Subscribed".
If I am updating, I know the the email already exists in the list

On checking upon your workflow, we can see that your Member ID is same for all the updates, because of which again and again that single Member ID is getting updated and you are receiving the error-
