I posted this earlier on Pabbly Facebook, and Neeraj asked me to post it here on the forums.

Pabbly to Slack Automation. I am using Pabbly to send ticket alerts to Slack. However, I’m encountering an issue with the Slack notifications. In the 'All Threads' (list view), my name appears, but when I open any thread, it shows 'Pabbly Connect' instead. Can you help me understand why this is happening and how to fix it? I’ve attached screenshots for reference. This is happening only on the Slack mobile app; the desktop doesn't seem to have this issue.

View 1: View from all threads shows my name

View 2: When I'm in the thread, it displays Pabbly Connect instead of my name.

Kinldy help how i can fix this.

Hello Amir,

We have tested the scenario on our end by setting up the connection using the User Token type. In our case, our name appears consistently — both in the list view (All Threads) and inside individual threads.

Could you please confirm whether your connection in Pabbly Connect is also configured using a User Token rather than a Bot Token? This setting can affect how the sender's name is displayed in Slack.

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could provide more details about your setup. If possible, please share a screen recording that captures the entire process, from creating the connection to sending the message. We are moving this thread to a private discussion so you can securely share the recording.
