Pabbly Webhook From Google Sheets

Hi, my client runs Facebook lead ads with another marketing agency and all leads are sent to a Google Sheet. I'm pulling the lead data from Google Sheets into our CRM. I'm not sure if I should select 'Send on Event' or the 'Send on Schedule' option in the Google sheets add-on. The leads are being pulled automatically bit the client does not want to wait an hour before the even actually fires. They want to be notified immediately. Even though the leads are not added manually, will the 'Send on Event' option still work in order to trigger the lead data immediately?

Hello @jpr,

Could you please let us know how the leads are being added to Google Sheets?

Additionally, if you want to reduce the trigger time to one minute in case of adding the data from a third-party application and using the Auto send on schedule option, you can add the One-Minute Script to your Google Sheets. Please refer to this tutorial for guidance -

Hi, as mentioned in my original message, the leads are added to Google Sheets via Facebook Lead Forms.

Hello @jpr,

Thanks for reconfirming that. However, we would like to know if you are using any specific workflow or method to add the Facebook Lead Ads to Google Sheets. If so, please share the details with us.

Alternatively, you can try capturing the lead in automation using the Send on Event option. If that does not work, you can disable the Send on Event feature and enable the Auto Send on Schedule option. To reduce the trigger time to one minute, you can add the One-Minute Script to your Google Sheet, as shown in the tutorial shared above.

Let us know how you’d like to proceed.

So, if I want to use the 'One-Minute Script to your Google Sheets' option as described in the video, I should NOT activate the 'Pabbly Connect Webhooks' function correct? (Pls see attached). I should ONLY activate the 'One-Minute Script to your Google Sheets' option, correct?

I.e. - if both are active, won't the lead be sent twice?

Also, is there any reason why I can't choose BOTH options in the 'Pabbly Connect Webhooks' namely 'Send on Event' AND 'Auto Send on Schedule'? (please see attached)

Hello @jpr,

If the data is always added by a script and you also want to enable the One-Minute Script to your Google Sheets option, then you do not need to enable both options under Pabbly Connect Webhooks.

Simply enable the Auto Send on Schedule option, and it should work fine.

Thank you, but if I don't want to add the 1 minute script and I select both the 'Send on Event' and 'Auto Send on Schedule' then it will still work?

Hello @jpr,

To make automation work, you need to enable 'Send On Event' if you're manually entering data into your Google Sheets. If the data added to your Google Sheets comes from another API or third-party application, you also need to enable 'Auto Send on Schedule'.

Note: If your data is being added from an external source/API, your workflow will take up to 1 hour to get triggered.
