Hello Pabbly Team,

We are actively using Pabbly Connect in our business and have a workflow triggered by Trello when a label is added to a card.

Within this workflow, we currently use a router with 10 branches, and we're planning to expand it to 15–20 different routes, as each route handles a specific label action.

My questions:

  • Is there an official or recommended limit for the number of routes within a single router block?
  • Are there any technical or system-related limitations that we should be aware of when using a large number of router branches?
  • Does the number of router branches impact execution speed or reliability, even if the tasks are processed internally (without consuming paid tasks)?
Thank you in advance for your response. We're looking forward to your input so we can continue building efficient and stable workflows.

Best regards,
Marvin Bedenknecht

Hello @Maddy,

Thank you for reaching out and for actively using Pabbly Connect in your business operations.

To address your questions:
  • Router Limit: There is currently no official limit on the number of branches you can create within a single router block. You can safely expand your setup to 15–20 routes as planned.
  • System Recommendations: While multiple router branches are supported, we do not recommend using deeply nested routers. You can use 2–3 levels of nested routers if necessary, but combining routers with components like Delay and Iterator may lead to unexpected behavior or malfunctions in certain scenarios.
  • Execution Speed and Reliability: The number of router branches does not impact execution speed or reliability, even if the tasks are processed internally and do not consume paid tasks.

Feel free to continue building your workflows confidently. If you need further clarification or assistance, we're here to help.
