Please add customer currency selection to Zoho Books create customer.

Currently,, these get assigned based on home currency, but in the system we can choose when adding customer...would like the same when automating:

We have added the Currency field in the "Create Contact" action event, to retrieve the currency Id for the particular Organization you can use the "List Currencies" action event.

Kindly try now by re-connecting the action event at your end and let us know how it works for you.

May I ask if you're able to add anything so that the generated invoice can be emailed out. Currently, the automation produces an invoice in draft. Would be great if it could be a live invoice and emailed out?

So, it might not be possible to implement in the action step.
