Hi Pabbly Team,

If we upgrade the plan today, June 6, How much is the prorated amount that the client will pay for his billing cycle renewal on the 11th? For example, his current subscription plan is $400, and he will upgrade to plan $800.

We are not following prorated concepts in the Pabbly Connect. If you are having a monthly plan for $19 that will end on 11th June and you want to upgrade to $39 on 6th June then you have to pay the full amount of $39 and it will be considered as a new subscription into your account. Do note that you will be getting tasks assigned from both the plans.

Please let me know which plan you want to choose for Pabbly Connect.

The prorated amount is automatically calculated by the Pabbly Subscription Billing system when a subscription is upgraded or downgraded. This prorated amount is determined based on the per-day charge of the subscription, which represents the amount you would charge your customer per day for that subscription service.

For example, let's say the subscription is of $100 of 30 days, and it is upgraded or downgraded after 15 days. In this case, the prorated amount would be $50.

In the scenario where the subscription is downgraded and the price of the new subscription is less than the prorated amount, the remaining prorated amount is transferred as a credit towards future subscriptions.
