Reddit Flow Is Failing

The flow that posts from our magazine to reddit is faililng consistently. Can support please help.

As we have checked your tasks history Id, we couldn't find any error in the data flow.

If you are having trouble getting the response from your trigger event then kindly recapture the webhook response once. Perhaps your webhook URL might not be intact in your triggering application.

Kindly follow the given steps once to capture the webhook response from your "StoryChef" account.

- Login to your StoryCheif account
- Go to your relevant Workspace
- Navigate to the top right dropdown > Channels
- Click on Custom Website
- Click on Add New Destination button
- Copy the Webhook URL above & paste it under the webhook field.
- Save the Settings

Kindly try this at your end and then make a test submission by Publishing, Editing or Deleting a Story.

I done all that and it is only publishing a test, it is not publishing the article.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but we have checked the webhook data from StoryChef on Webhook.site and it seems like data is not being pushed from StoryCheif at all.

Though we have contacted them for the same and would recommend you to check with their team for the same.

Now that finally makes sense, would it be better to not use them and use wordpress instead?

Yes, you can try Webhook by Pabbly trigger event to capture the webhook response from the StoryChief account. If WordPress supports StoryChief webhook triggers.

No i meant not using the webhook on sc and just using wordpress.. By the way Story Chief said they responded to you and waiting on your response.

Yes, the trigger event wasn't capturing the webhook response from the StoryChief but now as we checked it is working accordingly.

Well it is still not working, even after they said it would

I captured the webhook perfectly fine but it still only publishes the word publish, its failing on all counts within pabbly. https://d.pr/i/2IoWsq

Because you have mapped the trigger event(meta event) instead of the title which you have to use from the trigger response in the Reddit action step.

Please map the appropriate data in the action step which you want to pass on Reddit action step.

Moreover, we can see your automation is capturing the data from StoryChief correctly and passing the data to "Reddit". Please do the correct changes and then try again.
