Remove a Wordpress role automatically

I am using stripe > WP
If they purchase --> add role e.g. "active"

But when they cancel, I don't see a way in WP to remove "active".

Workaround could be -- add "cancel"

But if they re-activate again, then they have active + cancel, and this is not optimal, especially because I am relying on showing different content based on the user role
Ideally I want to remove the role completely in Pabbly (e.g. cancel subscription --> Remove user role)

...But I don't see it anywhere.

Any thoughts?

We have added an option in the "Role" field if you want to remove the role in the "WordPress: Update a User" action step.

One other thing I am struggling with --> I am creating user meta boxes (with Crocoblock's Jetengine). If I have a value in Pabbly connect, how can I push it to WP to update the user meta box? Now doesn't seem possible at all?

I am afraid to say currently Meta fields are not available on the platform but you may post the request to add the fields in the WordPress action here - https://pabbly.hellonext.co/
