Hi team,

I’m using the RSS → New Item in Feed trigger (also tried Legacy) and I’m seeing a structural issue for high-volume feeds.

Problem

  • Every 30 minutes the trigger fires.
  • If the source feed published ~800 articles in that window, Pabbly launches ~800 separate workflow runs (one per item).
  • I only need to process one article per polling cycle and skip the rest (no backlog processing).

Is there any way to fix this?

Hello @sportinvest.org,

Upon reviewing your workflow history, we found an unexpected behavour in the polling trigger. We have escalated this concern to the technical team and will update you as soon as we receive a response.

Hello @sportinvest.org,

After reviewing your workflow, our technical team found that you were previously using the legacy trigger, which might have caused the issues and consumed your tasks. We have successfully reset your task counts.

Since you have now switched to the normal trigger, please follow these steps:
  1. Turn on the workflow.
  2. Ensure the filter type is set to “Default”.
  3. Verify that your feed URL is correctly entered.
  4. Click Save and Send.

After this, the latest posts will come in response, and your workflow should run correctly. Please keep monitoring, and if you observe any discrepancies, do let us know.
