RSS trigger not polling automatically — empty Task History despite active workflow

Mike Horth — Question ·
I have a workflow ("SW Instagram/Facebook") using an RSS (Pabbly) trigger — "New Item in Feed" — that isn't polling automatically at all.

Details:
- Trigger: RSS (Pabbly), New Item in Feed
- Feed URL: https://spiritualway.online/feed/sw-verse-social/
- Polling interval: currently set to 10 minutes (also tried 60 minutes, same result)
- Workflow toggle: switched ON
- Task History: completely empty — no successful runs, no failed runs, nothing at all, even after leaving it active for over an hour

I've independently confirmed the feed itself is working correctly — checked it in a third-party RSS reader (rss.app) and it loads properly, shows the current item, image, and description with no errors.

Also tried:
- Toggling the workflow off and back on
- Re-saving the trigger step without changes
- Lowering the polling interval to the minimum (10 minutes)

None of this has caused a single trigger run to appear in History. Manually testing the downstream action steps (Instagram, Facebook, and a webhook logging step) all work fine when triggered manually via "Save & Send Test Request" — it specifically seems to be the scheduled/automatic polling that isn't happening.

Has anyone else run into an RSS trigger that just doesn't poll on schedule, even though everything else about the workflow tests fine manually? Any help figuring out what's going on would be appreciated.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for sharing the details.

We have checked your workflow and reviewed the RSS feed URL from our end. We can confirm that the latest item published in the feed has already been captured successfully in the task history.

Please refer to the attached screenshot for a better understanding.

Based on our review, the workflow and RSS trigger appear to be working correctly. However, if you are still facing any issues with the trigger execution or notice any new items not being captured, please feel free to share the details with us, and we'll be happy to investigate further.
