Share Google Subfolder with another Folder ID that have been created
Status: Closed · Asked by IChild Company on · 0 views
Hi Community
I have created Folder A, B & C, and would like to share Folder C with Folder A & B's recipients.
There seems not to have such a feature as the current sharing of Folders, only be shared through email but not via Folder ID.

There is a close substitute, Moving Folders. However, the folder C cannot be moved but only shared.

Kindly advise any alternative?
Have checked out this https://forum.pabbly.com/threads/google-shared-drive-sub-folder-share-with-anyone.7524/ , and seems till date there's no solution?

No, there is no such feature available on Google Drives's API that will share the details of the recipients and grant another folder to all of them.

Hi hi
We have checked with Google that this is feasible by creating a shortcut
https://developers.google.com/drive/api/guides/shortcuts.
We are doing this manually at the moment: https://www.labnol.org/internet/add-files-multiple-drive-folders/28715/#:~:text=You%20can%20use%20the%20Shift,pictures%20into%20another%20shared%20folder.
Is Pabbly able to include this?
Hey @ichilddev
We are currently not supporting this feature. If you want to request to update any existing integrations with triggers or action, please send us the request here and upvote it - https://pabbly.hellonext.co/b/Update-Existing-Application
