Thinking about buying QSFP-40G-SR4 — want to hear real world feedback

I’m getting ready to order a few QSFP-40G-SR4 modules to connect some 40G links inside our data center and before I place the order I want to get a sense of what people actually experience once these are deployed. We already have multimode MPO fiber in place from earlier deployments, so SR4 seems like the natural choice to leverage what’s already there.
A few questions I’m curious about before I buy:
Has QSFP-40G-SR4 been mostly plug-and-play for you, or did you spend time troubleshooting polarity or MPO issues before links came up? I know MPO orientation can be a pain if not matched right.
Any vendor quirks you ran into? For instance, certain switches or firmware that made these behave differently than expected?
Once these have been live for a while, have they stayed stable under load, or do you find yourself revisiting them for intermittent drops or errors?
Since these will be short, internal links, I want them to just light up and stay reliable. If you’ve bought and deployed QSFP-40G-SR4 recently, what would you double check before ordering? And how has reliability been after they’ve been live for a bit? Appreciate the insights!
