Thinking of upgrading to unlimited ...

Hi,
I'm considering upgrading to your Unlimited plan ($79/month). Before I do, I have a few questions.
1. Proration
If I upgrade now, will you deduct the unused part of my current subscription from the first month's charge? Or will I pay the full $79 with no credit for time remaining on my current plan?
2. SMTP restriction
My emails are only used to invite people to online meetings for our business. Your team has told me my domain cannot be used with your SMTP — but this was decided without reviewing what we actually do or how we use the platform. That is not a fair assessment.
If I upgrade to Unlimited and pay $79/month, will this restriction still apply? Or will you allow me to use your SMTP?
I don't see the point of upgrading if I still can't use SMTP.
3. Campaign stats accuracy
I already use your SMTP provider, with webhooks confirmed correct by one of your team on a recent call. Despite this, my campaign stats are still inaccurate — not usable for real decisions.
If I switch to your own SMTP, will these stats become accurate? Or will the same problem continue?
4. Unlimited team members
I have a large team, and I see the plan includes unlimited team members. I want to understand exactly what this means. Is it:
(A) I add team members to my one account, and they can create templates, campaigns, and workflows — all within my single account.
or
(B) I add team members who each get their own "sub-account" under my main account. I could then sell them packages (e.g. 10,000 emails/month), with Pabbly collecting payment and crediting it to my account — similar to an affiliate or reseller model, where each member effectively runs their own separate mailing platform under my account.
Please confirm which of these it is.
These are my first questions — I may have more after your reply.
Thanks,
Ray
Hello,
1. Proration
Question:
If I upgrade now, will you deduct the unused part of my current subscription from the first month's charge? Or will I pay the full $79 with no credit for the time remaining on my current plan?
Answer:
In this case, you would pay the full $79 for the Pabbly Email Marketing Unlimited Monthly plan.
However, we can add the value of the remaining period on your current plan to your Pabbly account as credits on pro-rata basis. These credits can be used toward the purchase of any Pabbly product in the future.
2. SMTP Restriction
Question:
My emails are only used to invite people to online meetings for our business. Your team has told me my domain cannot be used with your SMTP—but this was decided without reviewing what we actually do or how we use the platform. That is not a fair assessment.
If I upgrade to Unlimited and pay $79/month, will this restriction still apply? Or will you allow me to use your SMTP?
Answer:
Please note that access to Pabbly's SMTP is not dependent on the subscription plan you purchase. Upgrading to the Unlimited plan ($79/month) or any other plan does not automatically grant access to Pabbly's SMTP.
Approval to use Pabbly's SMTP is based on several factors, including:
The nature of your business and the type of emails you send.
Your email sending practices and intended use case.
The quality and source of your subscriber/contact list.
Your domain and sender reputation.
Compliance with our anti-spam policies and deliverability guidelines.
Could you please share the ticket ID where our team informed you about the SMTP usage restriction? This will help us review the conversation and better understand the reason behind it.
3. Campaign Statistics Accuracy
Question:
I already use your SMTP provider, with webhooks confirmed as correct by one of your team during a recent call. Despite this, my campaign statistics are still inaccurate and are not reliable for making business decisions.
If I switch to your own SMTP, will these statistics become accurate? Or will the same problem continue?
Answer:
Could you please create a short screen recording demonstrating these discrepancies and elaborate on them a bit more?
We'll share it with our technical team to determine whether switching to our SMTP would resolve these issues.
4. Unlimited Team Members
Question:
I have a large team, and I see the plan includes unlimited team members. I want to understand exactly what this means.
Answer:
It's the first option.
Your team members simply need to have a Pabbly Email Marketing account (they can even be on the Free plan). You can then add them as team members to your account and assign whichever level of access you want.
