How Stripe SCA Works under Pabbly Subscription Billing?


When it comes to SCA, Pabbly Subscription Billing helps facilitate compliance by leveraging Stripe's built-in SCA support.

Whenever there is a renewal payment for a customer who have stripe as a payment gateway in Pabbly Subscription Billing, an email notification is sent to the customer. This email contains a Stripe authentication email link, by using this link the customer can authenticate and confirm the transaction/record. This process ensures that recurring payments are collected securely through Stripe SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) in Pabbly Subscription Billing.

If you prefer not to use the email notification feature provided by Pabbly Subscription Billing, you have the option to disable the Stripe SCA Confirmation Email to the customer. You can do this by accessing the email notification section and disabling the corresponding option. By doing so, you can rely solely on the Stripe SCA email for authentication purposes.
