How do I add a new line item to an already created Xero invoice?

How do I add a new line item to an already created Xero invoice?
We looked into your concern, and unfortunately, we currently are not supporting the Line Item on Xeros "Update Invoice" action event.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

I am not asking about create, I am asking about edit an invoice.

We had a conversation with our integration team and currently, there is no such API that exists in XERO developers docs with the help of which can append an ITEM to an existing invoice's items that you're asking for.
Once they launch an API for this, I believe we should be able to support this as well.
