Do mapped fields reset (or stay the same) when deleting and adding a new Connection?

If I delete an old Connection, will existing mapped fields in each related Scenario reset (or stay the same)?

The above relates to a redundant Airtable Scenario, whereby 31 Scenarios use it. I have already created a new connection.

Going further is there an easy and automatic way to change of an existing connect to a new connection with the same app (that doesn't lose any mapped fields)?

No, it will not disrupt the existing mapping if you reconnect the action step or update the existing connection. However, if you make changes to your custom field or any fields within your application account, those changes will also be reflected in the action step.

Furthermore, if you need to create a new connection, you can easily update the existing connection of the application from your overall connection page in one go.
