This Split Text example shows 8 Results. I need to know the quantity of results each time this split-text is run. How can I accomplish this in pabbly connect?

You can try using the Spreadsheet Formulas to known the quantity of results.

Thanks for the reply. My followup question:

I will be running followup tasks for each result.

Is there a way I can make followup tasks, run or not run, based on the result number?

For example, if the Result number shows 5, then I want to not allow Task 40 and Task 41 to run. Another option would be to stop the sequence at Task 39 and not continue.

Regarding your concern about processing the task under certain conditions, we recommend you use the Router action step.

You define certain conditions when a certain sequence of yours comes into your workflow and run it accordingly.
