AI Assistant

What is BotID when we create assistant. I mean is this something internal inside Pabbly mechanism or is it from OpenAI?
What is the relation between BotID and the Assistant - can Assistant have a number of chatbots?
What is the relation between thread and BotID - can BotID have a number of threads?
What about thread and unique identifier - every unique identifier has it own thread?

Look like awesome tool. Elaborate documentation would help.

Your assumption is incorrect. There is no such thing as botid, unique identifier in openai. It is on Pabbly side and how the integration internal mechnism works.
If you don't know, just provide a link to the documentation. Because right now the only thing that exists is the youtube videos.

Hello @edwardzev,

The Bot ID is part of our internal mechanism and is not related to OpenAI’s structure. OpenAI uses Assistant ID and Thread ID as their unique identifiers.

At this time, we are unable to disclose the relationship between the Bot ID and other unique identifiers such as the Assistant or Thread IDs. However, if you're facing any specific issues or have a particular use case in mind, we’ll be more than happy to assist you accordingly.

Alright.
Use case. I have a prebuild Assistant which I created inside OpenAI account. It has prompt, knolwedge base, function calling etc. Now I want to build a Bot with pabbly.
So I want to use Ask Assistant task in pPabbly. But I don't have Assistant ID in fields to point to the Assistant I need. I have CahtbotID. So here is the question - how do I tie between them?
And follow up question - Every actual Openai assistant holds only one ChatbotID, or can host a number ChatbotID.

Alright. At least we established this fact.
Next question.
Unique Identifier - from the schema of the response I assume that once the Unique Identigier is new, the thread is created inside the assistant. and when the identifier is already used, the Pabbly will face the same thread. Is this correct?

Another question.
List of all Assistants task. What list exactly does it pull?
All Assistants in the connection, which is token, and the tokens in Openai are project based, so it should present all assistants in particular project?
Or is it, all Chatbots (i.e Assistants) that were created by pabbly?

Can I get an answer for this?

Hello @edwardzev ,

Sorry for the delay.

Yes, if the unique identifier is used, it will refer to a particular thread only.

The "List all Assistants" action fetches the assistants created using pabbly only.
