Auto send on schedule: How it works?

Hi everyone,

I've some doubt about using the function "auto send on schedule" on G sheet.
I already have a long list of contact on sheet which is keep on collecting new contacts by a third part integration.
  • I just want to trigger the new one so I'm about to use the "auto send on schedule" but I'm a bit worried that it will trigger also the previous contact.
So which is the trigger of this function? I know that it run every hour, but I suppose and hope it triggers only when Pabbly recognize any change comparing the previous version of the file and the new one, is it right?

    or

  • Maybe should I use both the functions "auto send on schedule" and "send on events" together to be sure it will send the data every hour but only with the ones which have the trigger column filled?
Thanks in advance

Ok I've tried and I've made a mistake with "auto send on schedule".😭

It sent all the file data not only the new row!! (2000 rows!!! 😱) I've finished all the task in my pabbly account and sent SMS to people which should not have receive it. And now I ve the rest of the task queuing for new pabbly renewal, anyone knows how to delete those before Pabbly renewal?

Hey @edoardo.bonitti

You can only use "Send On Event" when setting up Google Sheets if the data is coming from a Google application or if you manually enter it. If the data is coming from a third-party application, however, you may need to choose "Auto Send On Schedule" or "Send on Event," which will forward the data in exactly one hour.

Additionally, make sure the data was filled up to your trigger column.

Moreover, we have reset all the tasks which you have consumed accidentally. Kindly try your workflow accordingly and I hope this might help you out.

Hi there, thanks for resetting.

My sheet is collecting data from a third part integration, so I would try to use "Auto send on schedule" but I want it sends only the new rows not all the row.

Does "Auto send on schedule" also work with the trigger column?

It will send the data to your workflow only once, previously you might have toggled the "Auto Send on Scheduled" button multiple times.

It only works when the data is passed to the trigger column of your sheet.

Hi Team, I am facing the same issue in which the task is triggered for all the rows in the sheet. Not only for the last added one. What is the fix for this?
