Brackets Showing Around Fields in Template Broadcast (Whatsapp) Message

In Pabbly Chatflow, I go to Templates>Templates List> Example Template. It is already meta approved and in the text of my template, it shows my fields as {{1}} and {{2}}.
However, when I go to Broadcast>Add Broadcast>WhatsApp Broadcast>Select WhatsApp Template and choose my "Example Template" - then there it shows as [1] and [2]. And in the end result, when i send it, it shows in my inbox with those same Brackets as well.
So in my case 1= a salutation, i.e. "Mr" and 2=name, i.e. John. So instead of Dear Mr John, it shows as Dear [Mr] [John].

How do i fix this issue?

Hello @JSWaheed,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please note that this is not an issue but an expected system behavior. The square brackets [1], [2] are used to visually represent dynamic variables within the message on your end (sender/inbox view) so you can easily identify the mapped values.

These brackets are only visible to you for reference and are not shown to the recipient. At the receiver’s end, the message is delivered correctly as plain text, for example:

Dear Mr John

So you do not need to make any changes or worry about this behavior.

If you have any further questions, feel free to let us know.
