Can I turn off re-triggering off past failed tasks?

I have a task that's posting new rows on a Google Sheet quite often throughout the day. Recently we ran out of tasks, and it took me 5 days before I noticed and added more tasks to our subscription. Now it's trying to re-trigger all of the failed tasks for the last 5-days, and it's exhausting our Google Sheet quota and basically gumming it up so the sheet won't even load.

Is there a way to turn off the retrying of old past failed tasks?

If you have pending or failed tasks in your workflows that you don't want to execute anymore, you can disable the "Auto Re-execution" option and then verify.
