Can you not run the Python with dynamic inputs from previous steps?

I am used to using the Zapier python module where you can create "Value set" variables that form dynamic inputs that are referenced in the Python code I use.. This doesn't at first glance look the same in Pabbly, but this is VERY crucial to my workflow! Am I just missing how to each it? I need to be able to invoke consistent Python code with dynamic inputs extracted from previous steps in my workflows...
