can't link gmail to email parser

So it says in the pabbly documentation to set the gmail forwarding address to the ********@pcmailhook.com generated address to start email data collection from the email parser action. Except when I add this email to my gmail forwarding I can't use it because I have no way of verifying the address in gmail.
So how are you supposed to link incoming emails from gmail to pabbly?
