Client Portal - "Allow immediate cancellation of subscription" allows refunds greater than 365 days ago

Hello!
We had our Client Portal enabled with "Allow immediate cancellation of subscription" as enabled.

Upon receiving several dunning emails at the annual renewal period (365 days went by), the customer was able to cancel and refund their subscription payment from 370 days ago. This should not be possible.

What went wrong here?
