Corrupted worklows

I emailed this to support@ a few days ago. Since i haven’t received a ticket yet (no, not in deleted/spam/junk etc) I’m now posting here, too. And to be clear, I’ve repaired the workflows. What I’m eager to understand is how this could happen and how to avoid future occurrences:

I've just spent a couple of hours troubleshooting and repairing multiple
workflows that broke down without me doing anything. Three workflows, all
retrieving Meta Leads Forms data to Google sheets and some more steps.

Today I realized that nothing had happened for several days so I checked
the Lead centre in Meta and sure enough, a bunch of leads that hadn't been
picked upp by my automations.
In the dashboard I quickly discovered that a bunch of fields were suddenly
incorrectly or not at all mapped. Email body in SMTP steps were also in
various states of disrepair.

And I didn't get any notifications about this - except a couple of
notifications about individual steps failing a few days ago, whereas the
workflows were in fact totally crippled. Not great for business ...

So I'm curious as to how existing workflows can suddenly get crippled like
this?

For this workflow, I suggest you map the data from above in the last step of your workflow.

Mapping doesn't break on its own unless some changes are made to the workflow setup. I suggest you monitor your workflow for a few days without making any changes to the workflow setup and see if the automation is functioning as intended.
