Default country in checkout and default TAX on all countries.

Hi,

By law we need to show the total amount incl. TAX on cart/checkout. All our clients are mainly from 1 country.
As per design it seems like you cannot set a default country in billing details for client at checkout. This gives another problem that client can bypass TAX by selecting another country. We dont want to define TAX on each and single country in world.


How can this be solved?

Hello There!

We would like to inform you that you can add extra amount of tax in plan amount without adding the Tax directly, you can charge this Tax by adding the amount of Tax in your Plan amount so there will be no need to create Tax for every country once you will add this in Plan amount.

Hi Vipin,

As earlier stated, by law you have to mention the tax in total order. So setting the incl. tax price in the plan itself is not enough since you need a separate line showing the tax amount.

Hey,

We would like to inform you that in this case, you have to inform your customer that this is the total amount of price which is inclusive of tax and you can provide this information in your Plan Description. You can specify the Plan Amount in difference with the Tax Amount in your Plan Description so your customer will be informed about the specific amount of Plan and also about the Tax which they are paying for the particular Plan.

As many users only sell in one country, like me.
I would like a feature to select / deselect the countries of interest.
in this way users are facilitated in filling out the form and in addition, more importantly, it prevents the possibility that the user selects a country other than his own, to avoid the application of taxes
