deleting files on dropbox

Hi. I need an automation that on dropbox.com in a folder deletes files dreaded more than 7 days. New files are appearing in the folder and dropbox is clogging up for me.
I need an automation that deletes files older than 7 days for me.
Is this possible?

Yes It's possible. You can do this thing.
Step 1 use scheduler and set it for 1 day(So it'll run daily).
Step 2 in dropbox select "list All files and folder" in which you'll get date and time with file name(Make sure you'll turn off simple response).
Step 3 use Date/Time Action and fetch current date from it. and in next step with same action use add/substract date(-7 days in your case)
Step 4 Use Iterator(Get data from step 2)
Step 5 use Filter and compare if date coming from step 2 and step 3(after substract) are equal if yes then use delete file/folder action.

Thank you for your willingness to help. Could you please prepare a video like this for me with a screen capture of how to do it? I already have a problem at the first step when I have to use the scheduler
At zoom we both get tired because my English is poor and recording such an instruction is probably a few minutes for you.

I still have a question - I will have many files that will meet this criterion - scarier than 7 days, for example. Do I need to modify this workflow somehow as a result? In other words - will the workflow delete only one file per day or all files dreaded more than 7 days ?

Hello @haikus,

It will delete all the files dreaded for more than 7 days. Also, you would have to connect each step with your account and reconfigure the action steps as shown in the video.
