Different short code formats for Invoicing
You can use different short code formats at the time of creating your invoices.The formats for year and month are mentioned below. They can be used in conjunction with one another. The values will be replaced automatically wherever the short code for year and month are used.
Short code for Year & Month
- {{YYYY}}
This will print 2023 depending upon the year. - {{YY}}
This will print 23 depending upon the year. - {{MMM}}
This will print Jul in the month of "July" or depending upon the respective month. - {{MM}}
This will print 07 in the month of "July" or depending upon the respective month.
Sample usage in invoice settings. You can create any permutation based on your requirement.
- INV-{{YYYY}}-{{MM}}
This will print: INV-2023-07 - INV-{{YY}}-{{MM}}
This will print: INV-23-07 - INV-{{YY}}{{MM}}
This will print: INV-2307
