i absolutely need to extract buyer email, so that i can automatically generate shipping labels... we need to put emails on our labels.
it used to be possible with
"1. Etsy : New Shop Receipts"
but that stopped working.
get user also returns everything empty
I managed to get emails from email parser trigger in separate workflow, but now i don't know how to use this email as a variable and send it off to other workflow where i am getting address and everything else to then put everything at once into google sheets
they are not from the same order. It was just an example...
from email parsing i can get buyers emails, when etsy sends me confirmation of the purchased order.
from your etsy integrations i cant get buyers email anywhere.
Problem is that I don't know how to merge these two workflows, because they both need trigger to work
Try capturing the same order in both workflows. Once that is done, identify something common between the data captured in the two workflows.
In the workflow where Email Parser is the trigger step, add a 'Google Sheets: Add New Row' action step, and add the email address along with the common data in your spreadsheet.
In the Etsy trigger step workflow, add a 'Google Sheets: Lookup Spreadsheet' action step to search for the common data. This will allow you to retrieve the email address associated with the order, which you can then use further in the workflow.

Okay I have managed to get it working. Im pasting it here for other people to see

email parser reads emails that i have auto forwarded to its address... auto forwarder in gmail is set to forward everything from [email protected]
This is how my google sheet3 looks like so far with just some tests inside
then we have workflow #2. and trigger is when new shop receipt comes on etsy.
and this is how i get the email from my Sheet3 and add it to new row for google sheets
and this is how sheet1 looks like... the sheet that i then download as CSV and import into my shipping software
it was quite a lot of work and hustling around to manage to get etsy buyers emails again... but yeah it works now and only costs 1 extra task
