Google Sheet | New row added trigger issue

Hi,

I am sending a data from an app using its native automation to google sheets via webhooks (without using Pabbly connect).

I am receiving all the rows in google sheet perfectly.

Now I want to send that data in the last column to another app, apply transformation (on the data from the last column) and send it back to the same sheet and update the result column in that same row.

This automation works fine if I add a new row manually by entering the values upto the trigger column. But the automation doesn't run when I send the data automatically via the webhook.

So the problem is, when I add a new row via a webhook, it doesn't trigger the automation in pabbly. I have also setup 'On event' trigger. So how do I solve this issue?

Hey @Jithin

You can only use "Send On Event" when setting up Google Sheets if the data is coming from a Google application or if you manually enter it. If the data is coming from a third-party application, however, you may need to choose "Auto Send On Schedule" or "Send on Schedule," which will forward the data in exactly one hour.

Additionally, make sure the data was filled up to your trigger column.

Thank you for the quick response.

Data is filled upto the trigger column. And data is coming from a third party application.

I do understand the alternate solutions. But rather than scheduling, I'd like to get it updated in real time. I hope you guys will add that feature soon enough.

Hey @Jithin

Kindly opt for both of the options from your Google Sheets add-on, if you are receiving the data from the third-party application.

If the issue still persists then kindly recapture the webhook response and then try again.
