In a Delay After Queue - Will the delays be nested in the same single queue or will each workflow have an independent queue?

Hi Team,

Regarding your post: https://forum.pabbly.com/threads/delay-pabbly.210/ and the "3. Delay After Queue" option.

I have a workflow that calls 2 other workflows. Lets say Workflow A calls Worflow B and then does some more stuff and calls Workflow C.

Both workflows B and C have "Delay After Queue" Delays there.

00:00 Workflow A Starts
00:10 Workflow A Triggers B
00:11 Workflow B has a "Wait on queue" 10m
00:15 Workflow A triggers C
00:16 Workflow C has a "Waits on queue" 1m
Now...
Will Workflow C resume at 00:17 and Workflow B at 00:21 or
Will Workflow B resume at 00:21 and Workflow C resume at 00:22

My westion is..
Will the delays be nested in the same single queue or will each workflow have an independent queue?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Sure:
Workflow A: ***
Workflow B: ***(invoked on Step 17 of workflow A)
Workflow C: ***(invoked on step 18 Router -> option 1 -> substep 4 of workflow A)

Please note that currently, the second delay is on step 18 Router -> option 1 -> substep 3. I wanted to move it inside Workflow C and have a consistent "wait on queue" every time workflow C is called but would like it to be independent of the wait on queue of Workflow B.

Each workflow has an independent queue, so in your scenario, Workflow C will resume at 00:17 and Workflow B will resume at 00:21.
