I tried to set up a test product with the donation/pay what you want as a subscription. It wouldn't allow the $0 value and enforces a $1 minimum.
I'd like to make it free for those that don't want to pay for it.

Hello,

We would like to inform you that you can create a free plan with donation pricing but for that you need to leave the pricing tab blank so then it will create a free plan but in this case the customer can not pay the price so it will be only for free user.
So, you have to create one more plan for the paid user with donation pricing so that the user can also pay for your plan.
Now, you can create a multiplan and add both of these plan plan into the same multiplan so the customer can select one of them.
So the customer can either select the free plan or the paid plan for donation plans.
