I need to assign a value to the custom fields and have it updated in Pipedrive.

Hey @sameen

If you are trying to create an API by Pabbly action step for your Pipedrive action event, you have to pass the custom field Id which you can get it from the custom field section of your Pipedrive account.

To add the field in the action step press + button and then pass the custom field id in the label field.

To add the custom field Id in the label field and pass the correct data type in the value field accordingly.
