Looking at this source iam confused on how to implement this using Pabbly Chatflow

This template is perfect for community managers, business owners, and WhatsApp group administrators who want to create a welcoming experience for new members. Whether you're running a support group, managing a business community, or moderating a hobby group, this automation ensures every new member feels valued from the moment they join.

Please try to share a video or blog link. We have an unlimited pabbly plus subscription so more simpler implementation options are welcome

Hi @WFDM Marketing,

Thanks for sharing the details. Please note that this use case is only possible if you have access to Evolution API.

Only with Evolution API, you can receive the required notifications/events whenever a new member joins your WhatsApp group. After that, we can set up the flow in Pabbly Chatflow to send a welcome message (with buttons) based on the group they joined.

So, could you please confirm if you already have access to Evolution API?

no Preeti. Iam not from a coding background so after going through the implementation checklist for Evolution API, are not sure if it can be done on my own. is there someone from Pabbly team that can do it for us ?

Hi @WFDM Marketing,

Thanks for the clarification. Please note that this setup is not possible directly via Pabbly Chatflow, as Evolution API is not an official WhatsApp channel to fetch group-related events/details.

If you already have Evolution API access and it is configured on your end, you may use its webhook events to capture “new member joined” activity and then pass the data to Pabbly to send the welcome message. However, we won’t be able to assist with installing or setting up Evolution API since it is a third-party, self-managed setup.
