Question about Thrivecart zenler integration

Hi there, I followed the youtube tutorial here for this (it seems to have changed for the better, in that it is simpler/more automatic to connect now), but I'm curious as to what happens if the thrivecart purchaser is already an existing user and not a NEW user?

Does it duplicate the user (curious because I don't want duplicates in my welcome autoresponder), or does it just update it and enroll them without duplication or triggering the email welcome sequence for them again? If so is there a step that can remedy that?

Also, I'm not sure I'm clear on the difference in using the webhook key vs the api key to connect to thrivecart?

You can track users by including it in Google Sheets. With the help of the "Lookup Spreadsheet" action step in Google Sheets, you can verify the presence of existing user details. By doing so, you can prevent duplicating this data in your target application by Filter action step.
